Originally I am from Germany, but moved to the US about 27 years ago. Now I am a Florida based artist. As a child I already loved drawing and painting, but never went to art school. Later in life I took private drawing and painting lessons in NJ. My subjects are mostly landscapes, different animals, portraits, even farms and different nature related subjects, like shells and pearls. My influences are the old masters, especially Rembrandt, and also Dali. Abstracts do fascinate me also, and sometimes I use this style to express nature in a whimsical way. My favorite mediums are Oil, Acrylic and Watercolor.

With my paintings I hope to bring the love for nature to the viewer.
