Fran Naughton taught in Boston and New York City, after graduating from U of Mass  with a degree in education and art. She took classes at the Art Students League for New York and taught an art history course as an adjunct for Bronx Community College. She moved to the Villages in 2005 and found her home in the art community here. She has won numerous awards, including an award of merit from the Florida Watercolor Society.
